Complete edition of À la recherche du temps perdu by Marcel Proust, altered; transparent blue bags, crumpled book pages, metal shelves, time, performance

To read the complete seven-volume edition of Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu (In Search of Lost Time), the artist gave daily performances for several months. As the pages were read, they were torn out and preserved in transparent bags. This action ended with the final volume, Le Temps retrouvé (Time Regained), which remained intact. All of the elements were then deposited on a seven-tier bookshelf.
