Books and dimensions variable

Seven books from the artist’s private library, chosen for the concepts they convey, lie on seven found stools. Each book holds a blown glass model of a tree branch. The models were inspired by and created freehand from branches picked up and used as walking sticks on the artist’s rambles. The books selected for this ver­ sion: Giorgio Agamben, The Time that Remains. A Commentary on the Letter to the Romans; Alain Badiou, Logics of Worlds: Being and Event II; Zygmunt Bauman, Liquid Modernity; Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, A Thousand Plateaus – Capitalism and Schizophrenia 2; Peter Sloterdijk, Bubbles: Spheres I; Slavoj Zizek, La subjectivité à venir; Jacques Derrida, Voice and Phenomenon.
