Dimensions equivalent to the artist’s stride

A pair of shoes and a tree root found around the Venetian lagoon are assembled in a sculptural composition. The combination of two apparently unrelated elements – one made by humans, the other by nature – produces the visual effect of a shifting step, which happens to match the artist’s long stride.
