6 brushed stainless steel frames, 54 stainless steel wires, rotating hinges, perforated encyclopaedia pictures
Each frame 310 × 200 cm
Presentation and dimensions variable

Metallic frames assembled like giant screens are strung with stainless steel cables from which hang thou sands of pictures cut from encyclopaedias of various kinds and origins. The screens form a sort of maze or barrier that can be circumvented or traversed in various ways. The perforated pictures hang from the cables to create a subjective, fragmentary narrative of history in motion. The uncaptioned images appeal to the viewer’s memory and summon up personal recollections and experiences.
