Black Ocean, 2015
Black ballpoint ink on paper
150 × 212 cm

Only the first and the last words of a poem written by the artist are visible. The rest of the words, essential to decipher and unfurl the poem, are missing. The language is submerged in the dense, black mass created by thousands of black ballpoint pen marks. The intense mass invites immersion, as if the viewer were facing the sea, a metaphor for the human condition.
